Welcome! My name is Mike Sasser and I’m a new portrait photographer in the Birmingham, Alabama area that does on location sessions. I’ve always loved photography, but after having kids of my own, I have found a new passion for capturing those moments we want to remember forever. Now, I would like to help others capture those same moments.

This blog will have both session sneak peeks and also include, from time-to-time, some photos of my family, most likely featuring “the Boys”.

I can’t say I have a particular style other than I want everyone to be comfortable and relaxed. My main objective is for everyone to have fun and let the photography just happen.

Brock and Braden

After a morning at the Botanical Gardens, I spent the afternoon at a hidden park in Montevallo with two new friends, Brock and Braden.  Two energetic boys that were ready to play.  I let them do their thing and just tried to capture some of the magic of being young.
