Welcome! My name is Mike Sasser and I’m a new portrait photographer in the Birmingham, Alabama area that does on location sessions. I’ve always loved photography, but after having kids of my own, I have found a new passion for capturing those moments we want to remember forever. Now, I would like to help others capture those same moments.

This blog will have both session sneak peeks and also include, from time-to-time, some photos of my family, most likely featuring “the Boys”.

I can’t say I have a particular style other than I want everyone to be comfortable and relaxed. My main objective is for everyone to have fun and let the photography just happen.

My First Session

This past weekend I had the great opportunity to meet a wonderful family of five. First and foremost, I need to thank them for being my guinea pigs for my very FIRST session. You guys were great! Even though it was a million degrees out, I hope you all had fun. Thanks again for bearing with me and helping with something I'm still learning, but extremely enjoy.  Here's a few of my favorites from our session.
